Kilchoman 100% Islay 12th Edition
The color is old gold. The aroma is clean, with notes of vanilla, citrus, ginger, malt, floral hints and peat notes. Peat greets us with notes of citrus, sea salt, cinnamon, barley malt and vanilla. The finish has good persistence, oily, with notes of spice, citrus, sea breeze and a hint of sherry.

Kilchoman 100% Islay 12th Edition is a blend of 35 different casks (29 ex-bourbon and 6 ex-Sherry Oloroso) aged for a minimum of 8 years. This version, bottled in 2022, is made from Kilchoman farm barley of the Publican variety, which was peated directly at the distillery. The peating process is very artisanal and peat levels are hardly ever the same, but the distillery estimates an average level of about 20ppm. Kilchoman 100% Islay is the distillery's only product made entirely from barley grown on its own farm; it is bottled at 50 percent vol in 12,500 bottles, without being cold filtered or colored.
