Springbank 30YO 46% Release 2025

The Springbank distillery is part of Campbeltown's history, but more importantly, it is one of the few survivors of the Campbeltown whiskey crisis, and it is still one of Scotland's most traditional distilleries today. From the malting of the barley laid out on the malting floor to the bottling of the whisky, everything at Springbank is done in-house. The workers handcraft the entire process; there is no computer in the plant.
The Springbank 30 Years Old 2025 25/13 Batch Release is made exclusively from 85% Ex Port, 15% Ex Sherry Casks bottled at 46% (natural grade), Non-chill filtered and with no added coloring.

Nose: Sweet and slightly smoky, with fruity notes of pear, plums, and red fruits blending with sherry notes and a hint of honey.
Palate: Elegant and balanced, with notes of sherry, plum jam, blood oranges, and a light peatiness, accompanied by hints of tobacco and milk chocolate.
Finish: Good length, with notes of peat, vanilla, hints of fresh earth, and wood.
