This Grappa di Barolo 9 Years is manufactured from the extremely fresh pomace of Nebbiolo grapes used to make Barolo DOCG, one of the best recognized and most valued Italian red wines in the world, by the Marolo distillery. So we begin with a desirable raw material and then proceed with a distillation using the discontinuous bain-marie method. The Grappa created at the conclusion of this procedure is then rested in tiny oak barrels for 9 years, allowing scents and tastes to grow and mature. We begin bottling and marketing activities at the end of the maturing period.
