Arran Single Malt Port Cask Finish
Color: Deep Bronze.
Aroma: Notes of vanilla, spices and ripe citrus fruits with hints of dried fruit, with the addition of water, notes of mandarin, dark chocolate and honey are discovered.
Taste: Full-bodied, fruity and spicy with notes of cinnamon that combine with apple and raisins, with the addition of water it opens revealing notes of barley and pear.
Final: Good persistence with sweet notes of barley.

The Arran Port Cask Finish is a single malt with no age designation that has been aged primarily in American oak casks that previously held bourbon and for a time in casks from Portugal that previously held port wine. James MacTaggart, master distiller from the Arran distillery, has carefully monitored this maturation period to ensure the best balance between the flavors of the port casks and the classic sweet-fruity character of the Arran malt. The Arran Port Cask Finish is bottled unfiltered at 50% alcohol by volume.
