Kilchoman Mezcal has an aroma of caramel and fruit, while flavors of tropical fruit, vanilla, chocolate and peat are evident on the palate. The long finish alternates between peat and lingering sweetness.
Description
Kilchoman's Single Cask 741/2013 is the first single cask aged Mezcal to reach the Italian market. It is not aged in just any cask: it is distilled in late 2013 from 50 ppm peat barley, to spend the first few years maturing in an ex-bourbon cask before being transferred to a cask that previously contained Mezcal in early 2021. It was bottled in early March 2022 and has an alcohol content of 54.8 percent. Only 261 examples are available.
