Ron Abuelo XV Napoleon is a rum with a rich bouquet and pleasant deep amber color. Ron Abuelo's classic aromas, which include vanilla, caramel and ripe fruit, as well as a pleasant smoky scent, are married with hints of cognac. Raisins, ripe red fruit, cocoa and a slight peppery note add to the already full and elegant character of the bouquet. In the mouth it is round and dry, while the entry is full and woody, followed by a long finish with fruity and spicy notes.
Description
Aged 14 years in American oak barrels, followed by one year in Napoleon Cognac barrels from the Camus company. Barrels that previously held cognac aged up to eight years are used. The barrels are used only once for finishing.
