Springbank's Local Barley series is made from barley harvested exclusively in the Kintyre region, where the distillery is located. For this release, the barley comes from Glencraig Farm, located 3 kilometers northeast of Campbeltown, and is of the Belgravian variety. The Springbank 10 Years Old Local Barley Sherry Cask is a lightly peated single malt Scotch whisky that was distilled in 2010 with Belgravia barley and aged for at least 10 years in casks that previously held sherry before being bottled at its natural degree of 55.6% vol. in a total of 8,500 bottles.
