Its aroma is spectacular, with notes of acrid, medicinal smoke, bacon, cherry jam, citrus and sea salt. On the palate it is nothing short of explosive and intense like few other drams. Flavors of salty cake, tar, spice come through: all incredibly balanced. The finish is very long, with still a smoky sweetness and hints of the sea.

Batch L004 '100°Proof' from Smögen has arrived in Italy! It is distilled from Optic barley and aged for at least 6 years in ex-Oloroso Sherry Quarter Casks to achieve a very intense aromatic profile. It was bottled in 2022 at a degree of 57.1% in a limited edition after receiving high ratings on the most important sector blogs.
