The Arcadian Barley series, which includes Fenniscourt Peated and Ballybannon Peated, as well as Hunter, tends to the natural aromas and authenticity of ancient times, seeking the intensity of flavors from organic and biodynamic peat barley. Authentic Irish barley and peat for pioneering distillations. Peat has been the main source of fuel in rural Ireland since the beginning of time. Its sweet aroma enveloped barley dried on peat smoke by unlicensed distillers, a practice that died out in the 1850s. We are returning to a wild tradition, with barley grown on farms in Fenniscourt and Ballybannon.
