Macallan 12 Y.O. Sherry Wood is aged entirely in European oak barrels, grown and harvested in Spain and France. Before being used to age the whiskey, the barrels must mature the sherry wine for at least two years. It is a whiskey with the sweetness of vanilla from the wood and the spices of European oak, allowing for a long, velvety finish.
