The vegetable elixir, thanks to the concentration of its 130 plants, is very active and is consumed in small doses, in a cup of hot water with lemon and honey, in an herbal tea, a few drops on a sugar.
Description
Chartreuse Elixir Vegetal is produced following the 1764 recipe, the oldest in the world, which combines 130 herbs, flowers, roots and spices, meticulously dosed and infused. The bottling is at 69% vol. The wooden case is still made by the monks of the Carthusian order.
