Stanwell pipes

Stanwell began as a small sawmill for the production of wooden clogs, in Holland, before starting the first production of pipes, still made of beech and square shaped. Returning to Denmark after the war, collaboration with leading Danish designers enabled Stanwell to make excellent briar products.

Particularly careful management by the directors and a policy of collaboration with numerous local craftsmen enabled Stanwell to still play a leading role in the market, with more than 110,000 pipes made annually.
