A historic brand of smoking accessories, it owes its fame to the research and innovation it brought to the field of lighters, first gasoline, then gas and finally digital ignition.

The first semiautomatic lighter in history (1928) is by Colibrì, as is the patent for the automatic lighter (Monopol, 1932) with ignition triggered directly by the opening of the burner carriage. 

Colibrì's innate technological vocation also brought the little bird's brand to the silver screen: in fact, the super-accessorized gun in the first James Bond exploited Colibrì technology.
